Quick Start Guide
Upload Your Document
Drag and drop your file into the upload area, or click to browse and select a file from your computer. Supported formats include DOC, DOCX, TXT, and RTF. Maximum file size is 10MB.
Convert to PDF
Click the "Convert to PDF" button. The conversion process typically takes just a few seconds, depending on the size and complexity of your document.
Download Your PDF
Once conversion is complete, click "Download PDF" to save the converted file to your device. Your original file and the PDF are automatically deleted from our servers after download.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is my data safe?
Yes! We take your privacy seriously. All file transfers are encrypted using HTTPS. Your files are processed immediately and deleted from our servers right after you download the converted PDF or after 1 hour (whichever comes first). We do not store, access, or share your files with anyone.
Do I need to create an account?
No! Doc2PDF is completely free to use and requires no registration or account creation. Simply upload your file and convert it to PDF.
What happens to my files after conversion?
Your uploaded files and converted PDFs are automatically deleted from our servers immediately after you download them. If you don't download the file, it will be deleted after 1 hour maximum. We maintain a zero data retention policy.
Why is my file not converting?
If you're experiencing issues, please check:
- Your file is in a supported format (DOC, DOCX, TXT, or RTF)
- Your file size is under 10MB
- Your file is not corrupted or password-protected
- You have a stable internet connection

Will the PDF look exactly like my original document?
We use LibreOffice technology to ensure high-quality conversions with accurate formatting preservation. However, complex formatting, custom fonts, or certain advanced features may appear slightly different. For best results, keep your document formatting simple.
Can I convert multiple files at once?
Currently, you can convert one file at a time. we're working on adding batch conversion functionality in future updates.
Is there a limit to how many files I can convert?
No! You can convert as many files as you need, completely free of charge.
What technology do you use for conversion?
We use LibreOffice, a trusted open-source office suite, to convert your documents to PDF format. This ensures high-quality, accurate conversions with good formatting preservation.
Troubleshooting
Conversion is taking too long
Most conversions complete within seconds. If it's taking longer:
- Check your internet connection
- Try refreshing the page and uploading again
- Larger or more complex files may take longer to process
File upload failed
Make sure your file is under 10MB and in a supported format (DOC, DOCX, TXT, RTF).
Download not working
Check your browser's download settings and ensure popups are not blocked. Try using a different browser if the issue persists.
PDF formatting looks wrong
Some complex formatting may not transfer perfectly. For best results, use standard fonts and simple formatting in your original document.
